Sharing Dance

Saturday, September 1 at 11:00 am under The Big Lake Kollective Tent.

Sharing Dance is Canada's National Ballet School's flagship community outreach initiative offering free dance programs for all Canadians...

Inspired by Stockholm, Sweden's World Water Week Symposium, Big Lake Kollective and partnering groups in the community unite over seven days at the end of August as the village of Wellington, Prince Edward County, tranforms into a canvas celebrating the element that connects us all.

Big Lake Kollective presents a series of concerts at The Wellington United Church that will include some of Canada's premiere artists and ensembles, including the COC Ensemble Studio, COC Music Director, Johannes Debus and Festival Players of Prince Edward County's Artistic Director, Graham Abbey. Conservation groups, local businesses and individuals will offer free events, exhibits, film screenings, and hands-on activities taking place at The Midtown Brewery, The Drake Devonshire, The Wellington Library, The Wellington Heritage Museum, The Festival Players Studio Theatre and places in between.

Below are just a few examples of what is in store for Water Week. Click here for the full list of artists and events that are now confirmed to take place.
